Often, new technologies come along that are incredibly useful for enabling additional innovation. We call those technologies innovation platforms. Here’s a common way they arise (but not the only way.) Watch the video below and see how this technology came to be. We see at least three patterns driving this innovative thinking, What else do you see?

  1. Pure Science: Steady experimentation because it’s interesting.
  2. What-if Thinking: If we can do that, can we do this?
  3. Sharing the “newness”. To help the next line of potential innovators keep learning about what’s going on in the world.
