If you missed the N&I webinar on Wednesday, 9/9/09, you missed some good learning!  (Not just for you about how to bring innovation into your organization but also for us, since it’s our first webinar! Lesson #1 for us: don’t worry about running out of content, worry about running out of time!)

Well, if you ran out of time and couldn’t catch the website, don’t worry!  You can watch the webinar.

Why bother?  We addressed three key questions:

1) What are some of the mistakes people commonly make when they try to create more innovative organizations?  We hit six of our top 12 in detail, and then ran a bit low on time and covered them in brief.

2) What specifically do successful leaders of innovation do? We shared our “Terrain Map” for Organizational Innovation, and shared some stories of how you might approach it in your organization.

3) How can you spark more innovation in you and your people immediately? Four key items you can do right now wrapped up the learning event.

We also addressed a few questions from the attendees, and we’ll address many of the questions we didn’t get to in our limited time in this blog, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, thanks for your interest and support of this topic.  And if you’d like to take a deeper dive into the topic, we invite you to our public seminar on 9/30 – 10/1/09 in beautiful Basking Ridge, NJ.  The details of which can be found towards the upper right corner of the blog.  We hope to see you there!
