Duane is a seasoned organizational leader specializing in innovation and creativity initiatives. He helps organizations build problem-solving capability to produce collaborative solutions. As Program Director, Office of Continuous Improvement at the University of Notre Dame, he is charged with providing internal consulting services. As a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, he provides Yellow Belt and Green Belt training and coaches Green Belt leaders in process improvement projects.

Duane is passionate about leadership development and putting practical leadership strategies in the hands of everyday leaders and igniting their potential. He is committed to teaching and training individuals and organizations the value of strategic innovation. He is the Board Chair of the Creative Education Foundation and an instructor for their signature Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) where he trains innovators from all over the world in Creative Problem Solving.

Duane is a dynamic facilitator and speaker who blends firsthand experience, a breadth of knowledge and an inspirational message to engage both the heart and mind of participants. He is equally at home giving a keynote address, presenting a workshop, or facilitating a weekend retreat.

Duane lives in Indiana on a ranch with his wife and kids. He loves the variety his life brings. Not only does he train humans, he trains horses. He is a 17 year 4-H Horse & Pony leader and loves to spend his mornings at the barn taking care of his horses.
